I have an unbridled love for Brazilian Music.

I sang and played percussion with one of London’s leading samba groups, Rhythms of the City (led by Barak Schmool of the F-IRE Collective) for over four years and traveled twice to Brazil to play music and learn Portuguese, and I would love to go back again. I get to play Brazilian music often with wonderful musicians such as Pedro Carneiro Silva, Marcelo Andrade, Adriano Adewale, Guillermo Rozenthuler – as well as being invited to play it solo. The opportunity to record a full album of this music has not yet presented itself, but here are some demo tracks I recorded in Berlin with my dear friend Ben Barritt. I hope you enjoy them.
