Pedro and I met in Berlin at the beginning of 2015, through a mutual Brazilian friend living in London. We met to play some music and discovered that we loved playing together. Several gigs and a year later, we are now writing music for an album, which we hope to record in 2016. Our collaboration draws from our combined influences of Brazilian rhythms and harmony, folk and singer-songwriter traditions, jazz and classical, producing a growing set of multi-lingual songs written in English, Portuguese and Tagalog. We also play a selection of songs that we love written by composers like Chico Buarque, Jobim, Edu Lobo, and Pete Churchill among others. Our music is thoughtful, playful and heartfelt, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoy playing it.
